Right near the lunar edge, I spot a brilliant blue ring of light. Further out I perceive an inner rainbow. Though not as brilliant as the ring, this is still really readily noticeable. I also see a very weak outer rainbow even further off.
Every full moon I spot the blue ring. Late fall and winter provide more often seen rainbows than spring or summer. Still, I observe these moon rainbows at a full moon every year.
