Los Angeles: A Florida woman has been arrested in connection with the death of model Christina Ashton Gourakani, who was the star of 'OnlyFans' and was known to be a Kim Kardashian.
According to San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaff, Christina died on April 20 of cardiac arrest related to illegal cosmetic injections to enlarge her buttocks, aceshowbiz.com reports.
While it's still unclear what was in the injection, Vivian Gomez, the woman who allegedly gave Christina the injection in the back room, was arrested at the Fort Lauderdale airport. on April 20, just hours after the curvy-Stars in California Hospital.
Vivian was charged with two crimes: manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license.
According to the Daily Post, Vivian gave Christina "multiple injections" of silicone. The procedure was reportedly performed in a hotel room in Burlingame, California.
Dr. Michael K. Obeng, a board-certified plastic surgeon, told "People" that these injections were dangerous.
"Most of these illegal injections are made of silicone, and silicone or other foreign substances can enter the body and over time cause infections and stiffness and disfigure body parts," Michael explained.
"And like any injection, it can enter the bloodstream," he continued.
“And if it gets into the bloodstream, it can clog blood vessels and cause necrosis (or dead tissue). So that's a big risk.”
"On 4/20/2023 at approximately 4:31 a.m. our family received a disturbing call from a family member who was on the other end of the line screaming and crying...Ashton is in the process of dying...Ashton is dying..." his family wrote on a GoFundMe page for him.
He added that "after arriving at the hospital immediately after the call, our family experienced a nightmare".
“We have been informed that his health and well-being continued to deteriorate following a cardiac arrest,” the family continued, adding that he died following “a deteriorating medical procedure”. "
"If you knew Ashton, you knew he cared about everyone. He was such a caring and loving free spirit who always took the time to put a smile on the face of anyone who came across a crossroads." , she continued on the page.
