I keep half a box in the truck. and carry a 4-round mag full and 10 in a pocket. Technically a deer hunter should only need one bullet, two in case the first one doesn?t do the job. But in the event of a zombie deer, you probably want a box. I shot a zombie deer once. It was the weirdest thing. I shot a deer in the brain with a 30.06 and walked up to it but it kept moving. So I shot it in the head again, turning what was left of its brain to jelly, and it still kept moving. Every time I tried to grab its leg to gut it, it would kick and try to stand up. I managed to cut its windpipe, but it still moved. Finally, after waiting about 15 minutes, it finally stopped moving. If I am out hunting and lose my magazine, or if I do happen to shoot and miss, I want to have backup ammo. If I get lost in the woods or run into a cougar or pack of wolves, it's comforting to know I have some extra ammo on me lol. Read Also : Are Indian software engineers modern day slaves?
