The USA Basketball Men's Select Team for 2024 has selected fifteen athletes who will practice with the USA Basketball Men's National Team in anticipation of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Twelve active NBA or NBA G League players, two players with NBA, NBA G League, international, and USA Basketball experience, and one incoming college freshman with USA Basketball experience make up the USA Select Team's roster. From July 6–8, in Las Vegas, members of the USA Men’s Select Team will practice everyday with the USA Men’s National Team.
Jalen Duren (Detroit Pistons), Cooper Flagg (Duke University), Langston Galloway (Free Agent), Nigel Hayes-Davis (Fenerbahçe, Turkey), Trayce Jackson-Davis (Golden State Warriors), Jaime Jaquez Jr. (Miami Heat), Brandon Miller (Charlotte Hornets), Trey Murphy (New Orleans Pelicans), Keegan Murray (Sacramento Kings), Brandin Podziemski (Golden State Warriors), Micah Potter (Utah Jazz/Salt Lake City Stars), Payton Pritchard (Boston Celtics), Jabari Smith Jr. (Houston Rockets), Jalen Suggs (Orlando Magic), and Amen Thompson (Houston Rockets) have all been named to the 2024 USA Basketball Men's Select Team.

In addition to Suggs, who was selected to the 2024 NBA All-Defensive Team, the roster includes Pritchard, the 2024 NBA Champion, ten past first-round choices in the NBA Draft, and seven players who were named to the NBA All-Rookie First or Second Team.
Ten players on the 2024 USA Men's Select Team, including five returnees from the 2023 USA Select Team (Duren, Galloway, Murphy, Murray, Pritchard), have played junior and senior basketball for the United States.
Galloway took part in many World Cup Qualifying periods, which helped the United States get into the FIBA Men's World Cup in 2022. As members of the USA Basketball junior national teams, Duren and Pritchard have won medals in a number of FIBA World Cup and Americas tournaments.
Gold medals in the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup, 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup, and 2017 FIBA U16 Americas Championship are just a few highlights of Suggs' 2017 USA experience. After winning gold at the FIBA U18 Americas Championship in 2018, Jackson-Davis is making his debut appearance back with USA Basketball. Jaquez took part in many minicamps and training camps in 2016 and 2017.
As a member of the USA squad that just won the 2024 Nike Hoop Summit, Flagg was nominated to the All-Star Five at the 2022 FIBA U17 Men's World Cup. He will be the first college student to play for the USA senior national team program since Doug McDermott and Marcus Smart in 2013.
For the first time, Hayes-Davis, Miller, Podziemski, and Potter will play for USA Basketball.
Jamahl Mosley, the head coach of the Orlando Magic, will lead the USA Select Team for the second year in a row. He will be assisted by Jim Boylen of the Indiana Pacers and Matt Painter of Purdue University.
Mosley stated, "I'm excited to go back to Las Vegas and work with the USA Select Team once more." "I've learned a ton about international basketball during my three years with USA Basketball, and I've had the chance to work with some of the best players and coaches in our sport."
