The Houston Rockets added to the trade deadline frenzy on Thursday when they sent veteran guard Eric Gordon to the Clippers in a three-team deal, which the Grizzlies also called out.
Gordon, 34, has become a staple in Houston in recent years since signing with the Rockets as free agency in 2016.
"Clutch town. thank you for hugging me Thank you for helping me grow as a basketball player and as a man," Gordon wrote in a social media post. "Thank you for making me a home and a family!" Gordon wrote in a social media post. Words cannot express my gratitude to Leslie Alexander, the Fertitta family, my teammates and everyone at Red Nation.
"It's been an incredible seven seasons. As I prepare for my next trip, I'll always be grateful for my time at H. Everyone loves Houston.
