In fact, residents of the Golden State experienced some of the nation's highest gas prices during the cost of living crisis that erupted in 2022, wreaking havoc on low-income households as a result of the increased cost of living. America is currently on the verge of a recession, so the suffering is expected to continue into 2023. In point of fact, a number of the state's technology companies have begun mass layoffs, which will undoubtedly affect the rest of the community. It would be prudent to familiarize oneself with the state of California's unemployment benefits given the dire financial outlook for the near future.
