Reno is the closest airport to the celebration; generally, like me, people fly into Los Angeles or San Francisco and then ride with friends or pay for a car to go to the event. Before you book a flight, give your housing choices some thought as, should you rent an RV for the week, you might have to pick it up from one of the main cities and drive it. Flying to Reno would make more sense, though, if you were simply hanging out with buddies at the event and they have it all under control.
One week before the Burning Man (20th August), I traveled out of London to SFO; ten days later, on the 10th September, I returned.
My flights came back at £540 return ($700USD).
Your Burnable Man ticket
