Accentuating your eyes to make them look brighter and more awake can make all the difference to your overall beauty picture. But how to pretend to have the eyes of Bambi when you have dark circles, a dull complexion and you are seriously deprived of sleep? Take your makeup bag. To speed up your morning beauty routine, we asked for advice from makeup pros Namrata Soni and Arti Nayar.
1. Conceal!
Dark circles can make eyes look smaller, so removing purple and blue undertones is key. For best results, choose a concealer shade lighter and warmer than your skin tone and apply under and around the eyes for even coverage.
2. Curl your lashes
Curling your eyelashes may seem like an extra step, but you'll never regret it. This helps dissipate them and makes you look more awake. "It's important to learn how to use an eyelash curler and make sure it's good quality. "It will change the look of your eyes: wide and beautiful," says Soni. Next, apply mascara, and lots!Apply the lengthening formula along the upper and lower lashes, sweeping up and out.Treat once and again in the middle Upper lash line helps draw the eye upward.
3. Add nude shadows to the crease
A trick of makeup artists is to use neutral colors in the crease. Soni likes to wear browns and nudes in the crease to open her eyes. "You can apply a soft brown color in the crease to add dimension to the eye. A soft, matte brown color helps create the illusion of a wider eyelid without making it too prominent. Start shading at the corner outward and work inward with a fluffy brush," says Nayar. Applying the pigment in small circles and blending it in with a tapered blending brush can help control where you apply the pigment.

4. Tight-line your eyes
Another tip recommended by Namrata Soni: Draw a thin line along the base of your upper lashes. This will help frame the eyes and give a defined shape. Another simple trick? "Use a white or nude kohl pencil at the waterline to lighten and broaden it," says Nayar.
5. Rely on winged eyeliner
Since you want the focus to be on the outer corner of the eye, it can help to draw thicker, higher eyeliner with a dab of eyeliner. "Just be sure to draw a small line at the lower lash line to bring the wing closer together to make it look fuller and make the eye bigger," says Nayar. "Use a brown liner on the bottom to connect to make the eyes appear longer as well," Soni explains.
6. Finish with a strong highlight
Yes, highlighter really is the answer to everything. Apply pearlescent eyeshadow or highlighter to the brow bone and also apply it to the inner corners and center of the eyelids. This will make your eyes stand out better when you open them and make you look higher.
