Along the Atlantic coast of the United States, you will find some of the most exquisite beach locations. Families find them to be great summer vacation locations. Many have confectionery stores, arcades and amusement parks on their boardwalks. Others are more laid back; if you want a more sedate coastal vacation, To be honest, I do not believe you can make a poor choice. Here is a list of 15 of the best east coast beaches, though, if you would want some assistance in choosing.

1. Old Orchard Beach, Maine

Over 170 years have seen visitors to Old Orchard Beach welcome their vacation time. What draws them back again? seven miles of shore, first of all. Include the stores and eateries on Old Orchard Beach Pier. Finish it with the arcade known as Palace Playland. Think twice if you believe Old Orchard Beach is only for young people. Adults without children can beach by day and then enjoy the bustling gastronomic scene of Portland at night as it's only a ½ hour trip into the city.

If your family wants to engage in more than sun and surf, Westerly is a fantastic coastal town. Though you cannot afford the accommodation fee, explore the Watch Hill neighborhood, which features a lovely lighthouse and the big Ocean House resort hotel. Alternatively spend a day in the adjacent Mystic (CT) Seaport and Museum.

4. The Hamptons, New York

There are hardly any concessions. Before you enter the park, pack your supplies or stock your cooler at a WaWa on NJ Route 36. Leave home. Bring the family bicycles as well. Sandy Hook boasts a multi-use 8.7 mile length.

6. Asbury Park, New Jersey

Ah, the coast of Jersey. When the vibe for sand and surf strikes, I'm lucky to reside close to several of New Jersey's seaside communities. I visit Asbury Park when I want a classic beach experience. The town is seeing a rebirth following a protracted period of decline. There are elegant restaurants with views of the ocean. And one of the several freshly rebuilt historic resort hotels can have you booked a room.

7. Rehoboth Delaware
